Do you work with businesses outside North Devon?
Yes. We're based in Barnstaple but work with clients across the UK. Devon is lovely but we don't let geography get in the way. Most of our work is done remotely.
Do you write copy or just design?
Both. Tessa handles strategy and copy, Jody handles design and build. It means the thinking and the words come from the same place as the visuals. Everything joins up. No briefing in, no translation loss.
Can you just do a logo or do you need to do the whole brand?
We could 'just' do a logo. In our experience, a logo designed without any thought about the wider brand and how it is used can lead to a weaker visual implementation, in other words; it gets messy! We'd rather tell you that upfront ... so we'll always have a conversation first.
How much do you charge?
Less than a big agency, more than your nephew who's just got Canva. It depends on the scope. The size of the project, what already exists and what needs building from scratch all affect the price.
We already have a brand, can you just build the website?
Yes. We work with existing brands all the time. We'll always give you an honest view on whether it's working well enough to build on. If it is, we get on with it. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too.
Do you do social media?
Honestly, it's not our thing to run it for you. In our experience, social media works best when it comes from the people actually in the business. What we can do is build your strategy, create templates and mentor you and your team so you can do it yourselves with confidence. You'll get better results that way anyway.
Have you worked in our sector?
Probably. Over twenty years Fresh Bread has worked across private sector, public sector, charities, leisure, tourism, construction, retail and education. Get in touch and ask. If we haven't, we'll tell you.
Do you offer a marketing strategy?
Yes. It's where most projects start. We offer marketing strategy across digital, direct and email, as well as the broader business and brand thinking that sits behind it. Sometimes a clear plan is the most useful thing we can give a business.

Do you offer ongoing support after a project is finished?
Yes. Most of our clients have been with us for years, which we think says something. We offer ongoing marketing support, website updates and brand management. Some clients use us a couple of days a month, others get in touch when they need us.
Do you work with start-ups or only established businesses?
Both. New brands are actually our favourite projects. If you're starting from scratch we can build the whole thing. If you've been around a while and things have got a bit inconsistent, we can sort that out too.
Do you do signage and vehicle graphics?
Yes. Jody designs, manufactures and installs signage, so we can take a brand from initial concept through to something physical on a wall, window or vehicle. It's not something every design agency offers. We do.
